Tasha’s Table – The Legend of Blue Barb

$12.00

Local Handmade Jam

Size: 250 ml

Natasha and Brian hand pick their fresh berries from Balderson Blue Berries, just outside the village of Perth.  This is delicious jam that pairs beautifully with our Madawaska and Flower Station sheep cheese.   For a nice healthy snack try topping a Slightly Seedy cracker with either of the suggested cheeses and a light coat of Blue Barb Jam.

Description

Tasha’s Table is a farm and small batch preserve company located in Middleville, about 20 minutes from Back Forty Cheese. Chef Natasha LeBlanc and her husband Brian Faraday grow non-certified organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Natasha uses her culinary skills to create high quality preserves. They strive to connect local farmers and craftsman in and around Lanark County. They rely on Springdale farm maple, Mississippi Berries, Balderson Blueberries, Bob Dobson, and other small farms to supply what they are unable to produce themselves. They also work in partnership with local breweries, vineyards, and distilleries to create a unique collaboration of flavours.  They are hard working good folks and make delicious and unique products.
